समस्तीपुर : समस्तीपुर पुलिस को मंगलवार को बड़ी कामयाबी मिली है. जहां पुलिस ने लूट की योजना बनाते पांच अपराधियों को हथियार के साथ गिरफ्तार किया है. मामला उजियारपुर थाना क्षेत्र के ब्लॉक रोड की है.
पुलिस को गुप्त सूचना मिली थी कि कुछ अपराधी किसी बड़ी लूट की वारदात को अंजाम देने के लिए एकत्रित हुए हैं. जिसके बाद डीएसपी के द्वारा एक टीम का गठन कर कार्रवाई की गई. पुलिस के मौके पर पहुंचते ही अपराधी भागने की कोशिश करने लगे. इस दौरान पुलिस ने खदेड़ कर उन पांचों बदमाशों को दबोच लिया गया. इस क्रम में अपराधियों के तरफ से एक राउंड फायरिंग भी की गई.
गिरफ्तार अपराधियों के पास से पुलिस ने एक पिस्टल, एक देसी कट्टा, छह जिंदा कारतूस, एक खोखा, दो बाइक और कई मोबाइल फोन भी जब्त किया है. इस संदर्भ में दलसिंहसराय डीएसपी दिनेश पांडे ने कहा कि गिरफ्तार अपराधियों में से दो का पूर्व से अपराधिक इतिहास रहा है. वहीं पुलिस अन्य अपराधियों के अपराधिक इतिहास को खंगालने में जुटी है.
